The Art of Healing Through Art.

Here I am at a lake in WA. I have always treasured walking in the county side. I am a nature lover and would rather be outside looking at plants and wild herbs than inside on nice days unless I'm painting. I have studied Alternative healing Modalities for 35 years and am a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Past Life Therapist, Certified Life Coach & Spiritual Counselor, Acutonics Practitioner with a PhD in Religious Philosophy. I have studied Herbology since I was a teen and love looking for them in nature. When I was widowed in 2001, losing my husband to cancer, or more realistically Chemotherapy, I dedicated my life even stronger than before to alternative healing. When I lost him, I lost part of myself. Depression set in and that was understandable under the circumstances. Much on my healing began when I remarried in 2003. My husband is my hero. Not only did he heal my heart, but he was instrumental at healing my heart by taking me into an art store in March of 2008 and encouraged me to take a painting class. I wanted to understand watercolor because I had played around with other mediums in my youth but not really watercolor. I had drawn well all my life so drawing was really no challenge for me. Once I understood watercolor, I was hooked and it lifted me up like nothing before. Watercolor is a very healing medium! All art is healing but for me, watercolor opened up that dirty wound within my soul that would not heal and cleansed and healed. I now not only paint but I teach watercolor and use it as a tool to help others unlock their hearts and discover themselves and heal at a level they never thought possible. Nothing is more important to me than family. My grandchildren are the stars that inspire me. I only hope I live long enough to teach all of them and touch their lives.
